8 Lessons CHESS Programme (Beginners):

Lesson 1:

Chess Pieces and Movement Features

We will learn the movement principles of all pieces and practice them.

Lesson 2:
Basic Situation and Actions in Chess: Part 1
We will learn capturing, check and defence.

Lesson 3:
Basic Situation and Actions in Chess: Part 2
We will learn thinking on attack and defence as a whole, protecting the king, and checkmates.

Lesson 4:
Basic Checkmates
We will learn about the 5 fundamental checkmates we need to know.

Lesson 5:
Strategic Checkmate Motifs-1
We will learn 5 intermediate level checkmates.

Lesson 6:
Strategic Checkmate Motifs-2
We will learn 5 intermediate level checkmates.

Lesson 7:
Strategic Checkmate Motifs-3
We will learn 5 intermediate level checkmates.

Lesson 8:
Tactical Themes
We will learn the essential tactical themes: The Pin, Fork, Skewer.
