Rutwij is one of our top and most popular tutor and he has been teaching 11+ students for the last 3 years to help them achieve their aspirations of studying at the top high schools in the UK. However, For him tutoring isn’t necessarily about simply passing the exam, he ensures all his students can also thrive at KS3 when they enter high school and are fascinated by the beauty and depth of the subject – instead of just being able to pass an exam.His forte is to make students understand the concepts behind each topic and the method to get to the answer instead of just memorising solutions by rote. Lessons consist of a starter activity recapping work from the previous lesson, followed by the main body where he works together with the student on particularly difficult topics and dissect various problems to gain a deeper understanding as to the methodology of solving them. Then, the student does exam questions before concluding the lesson with a reflection task.
